      GRINM GROUP (formerly known as China General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals), founded in 1952, is a large R&D organization and high-tech incubator with strong core competence in nonferrous metals industry in China. Focusing on three core business segments, advanced nonferrous metal materials and processing, mineral processing and metallurgy, analysis and testing, we have more than 40 corporate family members, including platform innovation companies, high-tech companies, investment companies, publishing and services companies, and have established R&D and production bases throughout China in Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, Shanghai, Anhui, Sichuan, Chongqing, Fujian as well as in UK and Canada. .

      Cradle of nonferrous metals, rare metals and rare earths industry in China.

      During 1950-1960s, GRINM pioneered in the separation, extraction and purification of 64 nonferrous metal elements, which laid a solid foundation for the development of nonferrous metals, rare metals and rare earths industry in China.

      During 1960-1980s, GRINM moved 1,700 technical people and 4,200 large scale equipment to different s, and supported to build up and/or expand 8 factories and 4 institutes across China in Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Guangdong, Sichuan, etc..
